Keep confidential files and folders hidden from snoopers
Password Folder provides an easy way to hide and password-protect your files and folders.
When you first launch the program, you'll be asked to enter a single master password. This is then used to protect all your data, so it should be chosen with care: pick something you can remember, but no-one else will guess.
And then hiding files and folders is as easy as dragging and dropping them on to the program.
Click the "Lock & Exit" button and your selected files will simply disappear from Explorer, and everywhere else. If anyone else accesses your PC then they won't be able to see your secret data at all.
But when you want to access the files and folders again, all you have to do is relaunch the program, and enter your password. It's easy to then unlock some, or all of your data, at which point your files will once again be visible to Explorer and your applications.
Please note, if you forget your password then there's no way to get it back. So choose it wisely.
